What is a Project?

Print this Topic Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

The data which you enter into Westplan and the results of Westplan's calculations are stored into a local database that is organised into Projects.  Each project share a common collection of definable network nodes.  Each project can store an unlimited number of user definable networks, and each network describes a way in which the project's nodes are inter-connected.

A list of project stored in the Westplan database is shown in the left side of the Westplan window.  A project does not need to be manually opened.  It is automatically opened when one of the network it owns is selected.
