Design calculator area

The Design calculator area is used to display how the existing calculators have been constructed, and to design new calculators.   It is reached by clicking on the first tab above the workspace.  Calculators are designed by dropping compatible Calculator blocks onto the workspace.  The stock Calculator blocks can be found on the Main Menu, the speedbutton below the menu and in the Block lists area.

Each calculator block can operate alone.  However, the blocks can be interconnected, so that one calculator's output becomes the next calculator's input.   This interconnection is achieved by right clicking in the Calculator design area, selecting Connect blocks and dragging a connection between two blocks.

The Calculator design area can also be used to perform calculations, although parameter entry is easier when using the Use calculator area.
