The Header compression calculator lets you investigate the effect of applying header compression to the voice and control datagrams.   There are three outputs to the calculator, corresponding to using no compression, using cRTP 4 octet and using cRTP 2 octet header compression.  The RTCP packets are assumed to undergo similar compression on their UDP/IP headers, reducing them to 6 or 2 octets respectively.
