Calculators are made up of individual Calculator blocks, connected together to represent the flow of calculations. Calculator blocks are dropped onto the Design calculator area. Calculator blocks are grouped according to their functions. Details of all the Calculator blocks available are given in this help system. Press the Contents button at the top of this window, and select the Calculator block from the Calculator blocks option.
They are three ways of selecting a calculator block to use:
Block lists

Each group is represented by a separate section of the Block lists on the left side of the window. Examples of groups are Voice over IP and Erlang B. Click on the title of the section to reveal the calculator blocks within that group. Each block is represented by a green icon. Click on the icon representing the calculator block you with to add to the calculator.
Blocks menu

Each of the block groups is represented by an item under Blocks on the Main menu. Selecting the group name reveals a sub-menu, from which a calculator block can be selected.
Toolbar

Each block group has an associated toolbar, although only the Voice over IP and Erlang B blocks are visible when VoIP Select is first installed. The toolbars are displayed beneath the Main menu, and include an icon for each Calculator block. Holding the cursor over a button reveals the name of the Calculator block that the button represents. Click on the button to select a Calculator block. You can make the other toolbars visible by right clicking below the main menu.
Dropping a block onto the Workspace
Once a Calculator block has been selected, move the cursor over the Design calculator area, which is usually yellow. You will notice that the cursor has changed from an arrow to a cross. Click on the design area at the point you wish to place the block. An icon will appear on the workspace, and this icon can then be dragged to a new position if required.
